For those of us who are in the endless pursuit of bringing the dreams of the future into concrete realities of our present, we find that it is not an easy task. We must allow the learning process to take place and let it follow its course.

After years of struggles, trial and errors and many accumulates sad looking paintings up against the wall, I am starting to see the fruits from all my hard work. Those wasted tubes of paint, wasted canvases, numerous mosquito bites and all the wasted hours of working on those “sacred” canvases, reflect the opposite idea of what we think of master works.

Today, I am enjoying the results of all the wasted materials and endless hours of work, the perseverance and driven desires of becoming the best painter I can possibly be. Through my paintings I can see how close my dreams are bringing me to the reality of my present. I am not saying that there is no more to learn, discover and experience. For the contrary, it appears that the more we see, the further the boundaries are.

I am a firm believer that in order for me to receive, I must give something back. This is why I have created two different workshops. One is designed for art enthusiasts, like community groups, and schools. The second, is geared for art groups.

For the art enthusiast, this workshop will introduce the audience to what is the life of a painter by tying the artwork in with the experience of every day life. Inviting the participants to become more aware of the beauty of our surroundings. I find a very close relationship between art and the well being of all of us. I encourage the participation of the audience.

The second, is very similar to the above with the difference that I will concentrate more en the technical aspects of painting, Trying to dissect and to learn how to critique a painting. I encourage artists to bring some of their own works to the workshop. It is a great learning opportunity.

The fees for the workshops will vary depending on how much each organization budgets for this type of event.
